This jacket was inspired by the sporting look of yachtswomen. The layer of Kevlar offers some additional warmth in cooler weather, waterproof YKK zippers help keep you dry, along with the fully taped seams and highly water-resistant fabric that make the Regata a very weatherproof jacket but we stress this jacket is not 100% waterproof. In warmer weather, just unzip the vents on the sleeves, chest, and back to let the breeze cool you. The waterproof hood tucks away into the collar when not in use.
